Christie’s commissioned FGreat to create a video to talk about Suprematist Composition, a canvas to be sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art Evening Sale in New York.

Painted in 1916 by the Russian artist Kazimir Malevich, Suprematist Composition is an entirely abstract work that pushed the boundaries of painting.

Our job was to give life to this radical art movement. A manifesto written by Malevich sets the tone of the video while forms and colours are disappearing or being created on the screen.
