During the course of 8 months, working closely with the curator and architects, Fgreat Studio created and developed 7 films for the permanent gallery at the British Museum.

The work involved filming selected pieces at 6k resolution with a macro lens for the maximum level of detail that is impossible to see with the naked eye. We also recreated some of the pieces as realistic, animated 3D renders, to showcase some abilities of the pieces that wouldn’t have been possible to film.

Fgreat also went into the Waddesdon Manor to film the interior and compose a giant projection at the back of the gallery, mixing pictures of the past with 3D projections of the Manor today.

The films were a great success and the integration with the exhibition is seamless.
